One of Motorcycle Racing's true characters. Pierfrancesco Chili rode in the 125, 250 and 500cc World Championships before moving into WSB in 1995. His best result was the 1992 250 championship, finishing 3rd overall with 6 podiums, including 3 race wins. 6th overall was his best 500cc result on his Honda in 1989, with two 4th place overall results in WSB in 1998 and 2000. Here we have a visor signed by GP star Columbian Yonny Hernandez. Yonny started his GP career in 2010 in the Moto 2 class with the Blusens Team. His best results were 6th place in Germany and Valencia in 2011. Moving to Moto GP in 2012, and riding mainly on Ducati, his best result was on the Pramac Ducati in the 2014 Malaysian GP where he finished in 7th place, top Ducati, and finishing just ahead of works Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso ! This is one of Troy Bayliss' visors from the 2004 Season, (Hence the No.12 afterwards, not 21). The visor was signed at the British GP at Donington where he finished in 5th place behind Rossi, Edwards,Gibernau and Hayden. A true star of Grand Prix Racing from 1990 to 2011, Loris won his 1st World Championship in his 1st year,1990 on his 125cc Honda, at the tender age of 17.5 !. He won again in 1991.Then to 250s finishing 2nd in 1993, 3rd in 9,World Champion in 1998, and 3rd again in 1999.Onto 500s he was 3rd in 2001, and became the first real race winner for Ducati's Moto GP career in 2003 with 1 win & 6 podiums, finishing 4th overall. Julian Simon's Grand Prix career started in 2002 in the 125s. His 1st race win came in 2005 on the KTM. He moved to the 250s in 2007/8 but returned to the 125 class in 2009 with the Aspar squad and duly became the World Champion winning 7 of the 16 races. Here we have a visor signed by our very own female bike racing Guinness World Record holder, Jenny Tinmouth. Jenny holds the world record for the fastest lap around the 37.75 miles of the TT Course by a female rider which she did during the 2010 Senior TT at a speed of 119.945mph. A visor signed by German WSB star Max Neukirchner. I personally believe Max was going to be a title challenger in WSB before the accident at Monza in which Max was hit hard by another rider's bike in the first (hideous) chicane whilst leading on the first lap, and he never seemed to be the same rider afterwards. Max's best WSB season saw him finish 5th overall on his Suzuki, which included 7 podium finishes 2 of which were race wins. 2 podiums in 2009 before the crash. Price :- £20.00+p+p Sold.

Ray McCullough Signed Visor

Ray McCullough Signed Visor

A rare item this one, a signed visor by highly respected Irish Road Racer Ray McCullough. Ray was the man to beat during the 70s on the pure road circuits, especially at the Dundrod Circuit, where in 1971 he won the 250cc Ulster Grand Prix, the final one to be held as part of the World Championships, beating Jarno Saarinan and Dieter Braun. You had to be VERY GOOD to beat Ray on the roads ! Awarded the BEM in the Queens Honours List in 2021 for services to Bike Racing. Price:- £25.00 +p+p Sold.
