Phil Read Signed Silverstone Cover A limited edition Silverstone First Day Cover signed by 7 times World Champion Phil Read. (As Mike Hailwood said himself at Donington Park in 1979 or 80 that 1 race in the Isle Of Man can't be classed as a World Championship) :) Price :- £15.00 +p+p	Froilan Gonzalez Signed FDC 1 This cover is one for the stamp collectors out there as much as those chasing great signatures. It's one of a range produced again with Silverstone as the theme with stamps showing the range of cars raced at the circuit over the years. The superb icing on the cake is the signature, (his shortened version), of the late great Argentinian Jose Froilan Gonzalez. Ferrari's first ever Grand Prix winning driver, (Silverstone 1951),also known as 'The Pampus Bull' by his British Fans Price :- £39.00+p+p	Andrea de Adamich Signed Silverstone Cover Part of the excellent Ferrari '50 Victorious Years' in conjunction with Silverstone where, of course, Jose Froilan Gonzalez gave Ferrari their very first Grand Prix Victory. Clay Regazzoni Signed FDC When F1 cars really did look like F1 cars to me. This cover features the very elegant 1975 Ferrari 312T. In this image Niki Lauda (Ferrari), leads Carlos Reutemann in his Brabham with Clay Regazzoni up close behind also in a Ferrari. Signed by Regazzoni. Price :- £30.00 +p+p	Jose Froilan Gonzalez Signed Cover This cover commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Silverstone Race Circuit, 1948-1998. This is a very limited edition of only 50, signed by none other than the Argentine F1 great, Jose Froilan Gonzalez. Affectionately known as the 'Raging Bull', Jose scored Ferrari's very first F1 race win, very fittingly at Silverstone in 1950, and repeated this this feat in 1954 ahead of fellow Ferrari driver, Mike Hawthorn. Very nice condition cover c/w CoA. Price :- £59.00 +p+p	Tony Rolt Signed FDC Probably better known for his Le Mans win in the Jaguar C-Type alongside Duncan Hamilton in 1953, and a fine 2nd in 1954 in the D-Type Jag, Rolt did drive in the very early days of F1 driving ERA and Connaught cars. He also finished 2nd in the 1948 Dutch GP driving for Alfa Romeo. Mint Condition. Price :- £15.00+p+p
Dan Gurney Signed Silverstone FDC This First Day Cover commemorates 60 years of Formula One at the Northamptonshire circuit of Silverstone. This limited edition cover, (1 of 50 produced), comes with the signature of American Racing Legend, Dan Gurney. Price :- £45.00 +p+p	Tony Brooks -Connaught FDC A really nice and unusual FDC commemorating 50 years since Tony Brooks won the Syracuse Grand Prix in his Connaught in 1955, ahead of Luigi Musso, and Luigi Villoresi, both driving Maseratis, and signed by the man himself, Tony Brooks. Price :- £35.00 +p+p	Maurice Trintignant Signed FDC A lovely image on this FDC of the beautiful Streamline Mercedes W196, from the 1954 French GP at Reims. The cover itself has a pre printed signature of top French Driver Maurice Trintignant, but it comes with an envelope with his real signature inside. (This applies to every one of this particular cover). It lists TrIntignant's VERY impressive career results inside the cover, including his 2 F1 GP wins at Monaco in 1955, and in 1958 ! Tony Brooks Signed FDC Both Ferrari and Vanwall are featured on this cover, and Tony drove for both. He drove the Vanwall VW(57) to 4 victories as well as achieving 2 wins for Ferrari. If you love motorsport, and haven't got the room for posters, or prints, these First Day Covers are a great way of collecting pieces of racing history, and much sought after signatures, and all can be kept in a nice FDC file for years to come. Moss-Brabham Signed MGP Cover An unusual mix of Cars and Bikes here, but a nice one. The First Day Cover commemorates the Golden Jubilee of the Manx Grand Prix (1973), and has some lovely period Manx GP stamps. But is signed by two of the Car Racing greats, Sir Stirling Moss, and Sir Jack Brabham ! In lovely condition. Price :- £49.00 +p+p (Sorry, now Sold).	Jackie Oliver Signed FDC FDC celebrating the Lotus 49B as well as the Cosworth engines, features the 1968 Mexican GP where Jackie Oliver finished in 3rd place driving a Lotus 49B. His racing career is one with a huge amount of interest from F1, F5000, Le Mans,Can -Am etc, a true all rounder. Mint Condition. Price :- £19.00 +p+p.	Eddie Lawson Signed FDC This cover commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Silverstone Circuit (1945-1998), but unlike most of these covers, it has a top bike racing star's signature on it, that of 4 times 500cc World Champion, Eddie Lawson. Known as 'Steady Eddie', he was known for his lovely smooth consistent style, which belied his speed, and also his sheer determination on every bike he rode. 90th Anniversary TT FDC + Coin This Great British Motorcycles Cover also commemorates the 90th Anniversary of the TT Races, and c/w a 1 Crown Coin for this, with one of the greats from the 1930s, Omobono Tenni riding his Moto Guzzi on his way to winning that year's Lightweight TT. Price :- £18.00 +p+p	Dan Gurney Signed Silverstone & Ferrari Cover Commemorating 50 Years of Ferrari F1 Victories, this cover, is also from the 2001 British Grand Prix, exactly 50 years since Gonzalez took their first victory, at that very circuit. Signed by the late great Dan Gurney who drove for Ferrari in 1959 achieving two podium finishes. Tony Brooks-Cliff Allison Signed This First Day Cover, entitled 'The Prancing Horse' was brought out to commemorate the Centenary of Enzo Ferrari's birth, and the 75th Anniversary of the Italian Air Force. Signed by two of Ferrari's top drivers in the day, Tony Brooks MBE, and Cliff Allison. Very Nice condition, c/w CoA. Price :- £39.00 +p+p	Dan Gurney Signed FDC This great little cover depicts Jim Clark just ahead of Dan Gurney at East London. Signed by the late great Dan Gurney who is unique in being the only American driver to win a F1 race in a car of his own manufacture. Dan was not only a successful racing driver, but also as a race car manufacturer and owner. He competed against all the greats such as Clark,Brabham, Hill, Stewart etc and was a much liked and equally respected driver. A sad loss. Mint condition cover. Price :- £49.00 +p+p.	Peter Gethin Signed First Day Cover This FDC is signed by the very talented Peter Gethin. The first ever F5000 champion in 1969 in his McLaren, followed with good drives for BRM in F1 including a race win in the P160 Monza in 1971 as depicted on this FDC. Mint Condition. John Miles Signed FDC Very much known for driving the Lotus brand during his racing career, John Miles has signed this FDC featuring the Gold Leaf 72C. He drove this car as team mate to Jochen Rindt that year, as well as the 49C. A 5th in the 49 and a 7th & 8th in the 72 were his best results that year. He was the 1966 Autosport Champion in the Lotus Elan and was runner up in the 1967 British F3 championship driving for Lotus.Retired from F1 in '72 after the death of his team mate. Mint Condition. Price:- £16.00 +p+p	Maria -Teresa De Filippis Signed FDC A lovely signature adorns this First Day Cover, as it's signed by MARIA-TERESA DE FILIPPIS who was the first lady ever to participate in a Formula 1 World Championship race. She drove a Maserati 250F several times in her homeland of Italy. The cover shows Fangio and Brookes in battle during the 1957 Monaco GP. Mint Condition. Price :- £18.00 +p+p.	Mike Costin Signed FDC Mike Costin, and fellow Lotus employee Keith Duckworth founded Cosworth, a racing engine design/development firm,(Cos from Costin, Worth from Duckworth) in 1958. Costin remained at Lotus in the early years of the company. Known for success with their early 60s Formula Junior engine, they are World Renown for the DFV the backbone of F1 for many years, and the perfect 'partner' for Chapman's Lotus 49 chassis. Keith Duckworth Signed FDC Keith Duckworth, and fellow Lotus employee Mike Costin, founded Cosworth, a racing engine design/development firm,(Cos from Costin, Worth from Duckworth) in 1958. Keith was often alone in the early years while Costin stayed at Lotus. Known for success with their early 60s Formula Junior engine, they are World Renown for the DFV the backbone of F1 for many years, and the perfect 'partner' for Chapman's Lotus 49 chassis. (Also have Costin Signed Version). Mint Condition. Price :- £20.00 +p+p	Nino Vaccarella Signed FDC A much underated driver, Vaccarella, drove in F1 in the early 60s,driving Ferrari, Lotus, Porsche and De Tomaso. His Sports Car career includes, a Win at Le Mans, and the Nurburgring 1000km for Ferrari in '64,3 Targa Florio wins in '65,71 &75, and he partnered Andretti to a Sebring 12 Hour win ! Mint Condition. Bette Hill Signed FDC This mint condition FDC has a lovely image of husband Graham Hill driving the BRM P57 at Monza during his championship winning year, and is signed by his wife Bette, now sadly passed away. Bette was a constant sight in the paddocks of the world as she supported Graham during his racing career. Price :- £24.00 +p+p.
Mike Hailwood signed FDC This lovely Cover commemorates the most famous Motorcycle Races full stop, the Isle Of Man TT. Date stamped 29-5-74, the stamps show Stanley Woods winner of the 1935 Senior on his 'Bacon Slicer' 500 Guzzi, Freddie Frith Senior winner in 1937 on his Norton, Max Deubel and Emil Hoener sidecar winners in 1961, BMW, and Mike Hailwood's win in the 125cc race in 1961 aboard the works Honda. The cover is signed by Mike Hailwood. Price :- £85.00 +p+p (Sorry, now sold).	Dan Gurney Signed Silverstone Cover Celebrating Silverstone's Golden Jubilee, (1948-1998), this First Day Cover is signed by the great American Driver, Dan Gurney. Hans Herrmann Signed Mercedes Cover In mint condition, I have a First Day Cover depicting the 1955 Mercedes W196 driven by Fangio alongside Stirling Moss, and it's signed by Mercedes Works driver Hans Herrmann. Stirling Moss Signed Brooklands FDC 85 Years Of Making History At Brooklands, (1907-1992) is the subject of this First Day Cover. Starting the same year as the Isle Of Man TT races, this iconic Motor Racing Venue was the scene of some of the most incredible racing footage ever filmed.Date stamped 17-6-1992, and signed by the late great Sir Stirling Moss. Phil Hill Signed FDC A lovely image showing Phil Hill in the 'Sharknose' Ferrari 156 in the 1961 Belguim GP at Spa.Phil started in Formula 1 with a race in a Maserati 250F, changing to Ferrari for 3 races with 2 podium places. He won his first F1 Grand Prix in a Ferrari D246 at Monza in 1960; however, he is remembered as the first USA World Champion in Formula 1. Mint Condition. Price :- £35.00 +p+p. (Sorry, now sold).	Tony Rudd Signed FDC This cover showing Graham Hill driving the BRM P57 in 1962, is signed by the much respected designer Tony Rudd. Tony worked with BRM from 1962-69, and was very much a part of their great success during that period.
