Here is the Minichamps 1:18 model of the 1991 Benetton-Ford as driven by 3 time F1 World Champion, Brazil's Nelson Piquet. Nelson took his Benetton to 5th place in the championship, with 3 podium finishes, including a race win in Canada. The season was one best remembered for the Head to Head battles between Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell who finished 1st and 2nd in the championship. This is the Multi Signed Back Board that sits in the display box of the 2003 LeMans Race Winning No.7 Model made by AutoArt, as mentioned in the previous item. A difficult one to 'let go' as it brings back great memories, but it needs to go to a new home to be appreciated rather than be hidden away in my collection.

Unique Model Display-B198 Benetton

A reluctant sale of what I believe is a unique item. This stunning display was built by an apprentice working for Benetton F1 in 1998 and features a 1:18 Minichamps model of the B198 Test Car, and then comes with the signatures of both of the drivers, Giancarlo Fisichella and Alexander Wurz, immediately below. Senna 1:18 Minichamps Macau F3

A difficult one to sell having been a Senna fan since I was Karting myself back in 1979. This is the lovely Minichamps 1:18 version of the West Surrey Racing Ralt RT3 F3 car in which he won the 1983 Macau F3 race, ahead of such names as Gerhard Berger, and Martin Brundle. This lovely 1:18 Minichamps model is the official version supplied by Minichamps with the Rothmans Logo. These were produced for the importers when they were showing buyers around the world, and are hard to find. Most come as 'converted' versions with added decal kits on the 'standard' car. When Mattel Hotwheels had the sole rights to produce the Ferrari race cars, they certainly produced some 'special editions', and this was one of those. This is the 1:18 scale F248 Ferrari of Michael Schumacher from the 2006 Shanghai GP, where Michael celebrated his 91st and final F1 GP Win ! Box and model in Mint condition, unopened from new. Signed Audi R8 Le Mans Winner 2000

Although some people would consider Maisto as a 'lower' brand of Diecast models, they had the contract to make the dominant Audi R8 Le Mans cars during the early 2000s, and they made a VERY nice job of them. I was lucky enough to work alongside Audi with their DTM project for 5 years, ans was able to get the silver 'backboard' of the box signed by the drivers that took this car to the 2000 Le Mans race win,(Kristensen,/Pirro/Biela), So quite possibly unique.
